Sharjah: Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, recently participated in a high-level delegation to China to expand economic and investment cooperation between Sharjah and China. The delegation visited the cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province, aiming to explore investment opportunities in advanced technology, the digital economy, sustainable energy, and high-value manufacturing. The visit also included participation in the 'AIM Talks China 2026' conference.
According to Emirates News Agency, the delegation from Sharjah Asset Management included Omar Al Mulla, Chief Executive Officer of Osool Investment; Rashid Bourahima, Executive Director of Osool Investment; and Manal Al Hilo, Senior Portfolio Manager. During the visit, the representatives held strategic meetings with government officials, business leaders, and representatives of leading Chinese companies in technology, energy, artificial intelligence, and robotics. Discussions focused on cooperation and investment opportunities in smart cities, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing.
