Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree approving the general organisational structure of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority (SCDA).

According to Emirates News Agency, the decree outlines the approval of the general organisational structure of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority. The decision aims to streamline the functions and responsibilities within the authority.

The Sharjah Executive Council is tasked with issuing the detailed organisational structure of the authority through its resolutions. This includes making decisions necessary for implementing the provisions of the decree. The council will also approve job descriptions for the organisational units' functions, ensuring alignment with their specific mandates. Additionally, the council has the authority to establish, merge, or abolish any organisational units within the departments listed under the approved general organisational structure.
