Abu Dhabi:Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, emphasized the United Arab Emirates' focus on human development and empowerment under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Nahyan made these remarks during his visit to the 12th Education Interface Exhibition in Abu Dhabi. He highlighted education as a crucial element in shaping the future, stressing the importance of equipping young generations with modern knowledge and skills.

Sheikh Nahyan noted the UAE's commitment to providing an advanced education system that aligns with global changes. This system aims to offer Emirati youth extensive opportunities to acquire future-oriented knowledge, benefit from modern technology and artificial intelligence, and enhance their critical thinking and creativity.

He further explained that education extends beyond academic achievements to include character building, lifelong learning, and adaptability to labor market changes. The exhibition addresses various topics related to education's future, including artificial intelligence, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

During his tour of the exhibition halls, Sheikh Nahyan reviewed academic programs, training opportunities, and innovative projects from participating universities and institutions. These initiatives aim to develop young people's capabilities and prepare them for future challenges.

The two-day event, held under the patronage of H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, features participation from 580 universities and educational institutions worldwide. The 2026 edition of the exhibition is themed "Education and the Family," aligning with the UAE's designation of 2026 as the Year of the Family.
