Sharjah: The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) signed a memorandum of cooperation with Emirates Islamic to activate a direct electronic link between the two parties. According to Emirates News Agency, the memorandum was signed by Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director-General of the SRERD, and Farid Al Mulla, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Islamic, with several department directors and officials from both parties present. This agreement aims to facilitate real estate procedures and transactions related to banking services, including the provision of mortgage services and actions such as registering, amending, cancelling, and releasing mortgage contracts.
Furthermore, the agreement allows Emirates Islamic to utilize the department's electronic system for inquiries, verifications, and compliance transactions electronically, adhering to legislative controls.
