Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Defence announced that UAE air defence systems are currently intercepting missile attacks and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran. The Ministry confirmed that the sounds heard in various areas across the country are the result of interception operations carried out by air defence systems against ballistic missiles, as well as by fighter jets targeting UAVs and cruise-type aerial threats.

According to Emirates News Agency, UAE air defence systems have been actively engaging with incoming threats, ensuring the safety of its airspace. The Ministry is focused on neutralizing potential threats, maintaining vigilance, and continuing to safeguard the nation from any aerial dangers.
