Saga:The UAE Balloon Team, represented by the "UAE ONE" balloon, has completed its participation in the 39th Saga International Balloon Fiesta in Japan's city of Saga. This event marked the first time an Arab nation has been represented in the history of the global ballooning event.

According to Wam, Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansoori, President of the UAE Balloon Team, expressed that the balloon’s flight was a scene that showcased the UAE's presence on the international stage. The "UAE ONE" soared over Saga, carrying a message of peace, tolerance, openness, and cultural exchange. The balloon received a warm welcome and an enthusiastic reception from the Japanese public, highlighting the deep bonds of friendship and mutual appreciation between the Emirati and Japanese peoples.

The UAE's involvement in the event extended beyond the balloon flights. It also included official meetings with the Governor of Saga Prefecture and several Japanese officials aimed at strengthening cultural and sporting ties. During these meetings, a copy of the book "Al Rasael" (The Messages), authored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was presented. This gesture was intended to reflect the UAE's humanitarian and leadership values while emphasizing the importance of knowledge exchange and cultural communication.
