This victory in the third round of Group C matches propelled the UAE to second place in the group standings, accumulating four points. Kuwait, on the other hand, concluded the match with one point.

According to Emirates News Agency, Jordan also emerged victorious in Group C, defeating Egypt 3-0 at Al Bayt Stadium. This win allowed Jordan to top the group with a total of nine points, while Egypt remained at two points. Both the UAE and Jordan will advance to the knockout stages, reflecting their strong performances in the group matches.
