Bangkok: The UAE national kickboxing teams achieved a notable victory by securing 17 medals at the Thailand Kickboxing World Cup held in Bangkok. The event was supervised by the International Federation of Kickboxing and showcased talent from various countries.

According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE athletes delivered outstanding performances, collecting a total of 8 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze medals. These achievements spanned across the junior, youth, and men’s categories, highlighting the depth of talent within the UAE teams.

Ali Khouri, who serves as an Executive Board Member of the International Federation of Kickboxing and a Board Member of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, commended the UAE teams for their performance in the global championship. He expressed his satisfaction with both their participation and the results. Khouri also revealed that a comprehensive training programme is being developed to further prepare the national teams for future regional and international competitions.
