Abu dhabi: The UAE Search and Rescue Team, under the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA), is steadfast in its relief efforts in Sri Lanka, where they have recovered eight additional bodies of landslide victims. This brings the total number of bodies found since the start of the mission to 18.

According to Emirates News Agency, the team moved to the Rajathalava area, a region heavily affected by landslides. The team deployed specialized vehicles, equipment, search-and-rescue dogs, and location-detection devices to sweep the area and remove rubble in challenging terrain.
