Baghdad, Undersecretary of the Iranian Ministry of Culture, Farshad Mehdi Pour, confirmed: ‘The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate has a distinguished role in developing relations between Iraq and Iran, and we work for the benefit of the two friendly neighboring peoples.’
He said in a joint press conference with the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami: ‘Iraq and Iran enjoy very good relations in all fields.’
He added: ‘We are working to ensure that the Iranian media reaches the truth about the goodness of the Iraqi people and the excellence of the relations between the two countries.’
