The Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate (PSD), seized attacks on a water transmission line in Amman’s southern region of Manja/Andalusia. In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said all illegal fixtures were removed and documents related to the incident have been prepared to complete legal procedures. In another case, the ministry’s teams also detected a violating well in Irbid, which was backfilled and the incident equipment were seized. The ministry said the law views attacks on water resources a crime punishable by imprisonment and hefty fines, stressing that it will continue its measures aimed at preventing related violations in all the Kingdom’s regions.
