Wuzhen:The 2026 World Internet Conference (2026 WIC) Light of Internet Expo began on Monday in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, China, featuring over 1,000 innovative technology products from 671 enterprises across 54 countries and regions.

According to Emirates News Agency, the expo is a key event of the 2026 WIC Wuzhen Summit, themed "Intelligent Connectivity, Smart Future," and focuses on the comprehensive showcase of intelligent internet technologies. New internet technologies, including satellite internet and 6G, are anticipated to debut at the event.

The expo utilizes scenario-based displays to feature more than 100 types of AI robots designed for various sectors such as industrial manufacturing, healthcare, elderly care, culture, entertainment, and education, demonstrating the integration of advanced technologies into daily life.

Xu Zhaoxi, head of the expo's working group, announced the launch of a digital and intelligence consumer market, introducing over 130 new products for exploration, purchase, and interaction by attendees. Additionally, the expo will host its first AI-powered one-person company (OPC) carnival, providing young entrepreneurs with a platform for accessing essential tools, resources, partners, and business opportunities.

The event will feature 115 activities highlighting new digital and intelligent innovations, alongside 10 events aimed at promoting industrial cooperation. The 2026 WIC is scheduled to continue in Wuzhen until Thursday.
