Dubai Municipality Launches ‘Work From Park’ Initiative at Al Barsha Pond Park

Dubai:Dubai Municipality has unveiled the city's first 'Work From Park' destination at Al Barsha Pond Park, introducing a novel concept that merges flexible workspaces with the park's natural environment.

According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative was developed in collaboration with Group AMANA and Letswork, enabling visitors to work, meet, and connect in a park setting. This project reflects Dubai Municipality's evolving approach to public parks, transforming them into multifunctional community spaces that accommodate changing lifestyles and working patterns.

The 'Work From Park' destination includes dedicated outdoor working areas and climate-controlled indoor facilities with desks, private offices, and meeting rooms. It also offers spaces for events, networking, and wellness activities, contributing to Dubai Municipality's broader efforts to enhance public park experiences as part of the Dubai 2040 Parks and Greenery Strategy.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, emphasized the vision of integrating parks into everyday community life. The project, utilizing advanced modular construction methods, was led by Group AMANA. This method allowed for efficient construction and reduced disruption at Al Barsha Pond Park.

The workspace options cater to various needs, from temporary individual workspaces to dedicated meeting facilities, all managed by Letswork. Users can book indoor facilities through the Letswork app or website, aligning with the goal of enriching community experiences and supporting Dubai's aim to be a leading city for living and working.
