Flydubai Flight Diverted Due to Security Incident

Tabuk:Dubai Flydubai flight FZ1073, en route from Dubai International Airport to Ben Gurion International Airport, encountered a security incident on September 30, 2026, which was subsequently brought under control.

According to Emirates News Agency, the incident led to the aircraft being diverted and making an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. Some crew members sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital in Saudi Arabia for medical treatment.

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) stated that ensuring the safety and security of passengers and crew is its top priority. The GCAA's investigation teams are working with relevant authorities to determine the causes and details of the incident, examining operational and security factors.

The GCAA has advised against spreading unofficial information or speculating on the investigation's outcome. The findings will be shared with the public once available.
