Higher Committee of Human Fraternity and UN Collaborate to Empower Youth for Peace and Co-existence

Geneva: The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF) recently engaged in discussions with Tatiana Valovaya, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), to explore methods for enhancing the impact of the Abu Dhabi Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together. This document was initially signed in 2019 by the late Pope Francis and His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting, which took place at the Palais des Nations, highlighted a mutual vision between the United Nations and the Committee. This vision is founded on principles of compassion and mutual understanding, with a belief in the strength of humanity's diversity.

The discussions concentrated on developing cooperative strategies to promote the document's message. This includes engaging youth through targeted programs and international initiatives. The Committee emphasized the role of young people as not only inheritors of the world but also as its architects and planners.

The UN official commended the Committee's commitment to advancing the Abu Dhabi Document on Human Fraternity from a moral declaration to a practical framework aimed at fostering global cooperation.
