Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, was present at the graduation ceremony of the 31st cohort of students from Abu Dhabi International Private School (AIS) at the school's auditorium in Mohammed Bin Zayed City. A total of 159 students were honoured during the event, including 70 who have been with the school since kindergarten, showcasing AIS's dedication to long-term educational development.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Nahyan congratulated the graduating students and acknowledged their accomplishments, emphasizing AIS's role in promoting values such as tolerance, coexistence, dialogue, and belonging within an inclusive educational setting. He remarked on the opportunities available in the country and applauded AIS for consistently prioritizing student development, preparing them for a future marked by knowledge and wisdom.
Sheikh Nahyan expressed gratitude towards the school's director, Jihan Nasr, and the faculty and staff for their dedication to academic excellence. He also recognized the parents for their supportive partnership. Highlighting the importance of education under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership, he noted the national priority of preparing future generations. He encouraged graduates to continue with purpose, uphold their values, and contribute to society with integrity, wisdom, and unity, urging them to be proud ambassadors of their school.
Jihan Nasr, the Founder and General Director of AIS, addressed the attendees with a message of pride and hope for the future. She remarked on the significance of the day as both an end and a beginning, urging graduates to embrace future challenges and opportunities with knowledge and passion. Nasr emphasized the role of innovation and ethical technology use, encouraging students to utilize artificial intelligence to create a more sustainable world.
