Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree for the appointment of the President of the Sharjah Courts of First Instance.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Decree appoints Judge Dr Omar Obaid Al Salami as the President of the Sharjah Courts of First Instance. This appointment falls under the special job classification system within the Sharjah government's judicial cadre and will be effective from January 1, 2026.
