UAE Security Force Joins Arabian Gulf Security 4 Exercise in Qatar


Doha: The UAE security force has arrived in Qatar to participate in the Arabian Gulf Security 4 exercise, a Joint Tactical Exercise involving the security agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The exercise, scheduled from 25th January to 4th February, aims to enhance the capabilities of participating forces through collaboration and expertise exchange.



According to Emirates News Agency, the exercise includes police forces and security agencies from GCC countries, as well as specialised security units from the United States. The focus is on exchanging expertise and enhancing joint capabilities among the participating nations. The UAE’s involvement is part of a broader initiative to strengthen joint Gulf security cooperation and improve coordination and integration among security agencies within the GCC.



Arabian Gulf Security 4 features joint training programmes that simulate realistic scenarios across various fields. These exercises aim to test and develop operational plans and procedures, strengthen field coordination, and promote role integration among participating units. Additionally, the exercise supports the exchange of expertise and aims to enhance professional efficiency in managing diverse security situations.



The exercise is recognized as a significant joint Gulf tactical drill, underlining the ongoing commitment of GCC security agencies to bolster joint Gulf police cooperation. It also focuses on developing capabilities that contribute to security and stability across the region.
