Washington: The US Federal Reserve raised its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to a target range of 3.75%-4%, marking its first increase since 2023.

According to Emirates News Agency, updated projections released on Wednesday indicated that a strong majority of officials believe another rate hike is possible later this year.
