Abu dhabi: Yas Clinic Khalifa City, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center (ADSCC), has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ohio University, marking a pivotal advancement in international scientific collaboration and research in the domains of cellular and gene therapy.

According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was revealed during a scientific exchange event that united medical leaders, researchers, and experts to discuss the burgeoning field of stem cell innovation and advanced cellular therapies. The event featured discussions on the ADSCC stem cell program and the potential therapeutic applications extending beyond cancer treatment.

The partnership aims to bolster research cooperation, facilitate knowledge exchange, and foster the development of innovative treatments in hematology, oncology, and regenerative medicine. This strategic collaboration positions Abu Dhabi as a key regional hub for advanced medical research and patient-focused innovation.

Dr. Maysoon Al Karam, Chief Medical Officer at Yas Clinic - Khalifa City, stated that the collaboration underscores their commitment to advancing medical knowledge and translating research into clinical applications.
