Abu dhabi: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, the inaugural Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week will unfold from 10-15 November 2025. Organised by the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council (SASC), the event emphasizes Abu Dhabi's commitment to advancing autonomous mobility and its status as a global hub for smart systems and advanced mobility technologies.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event aligns with Abu Dhabi's vision for an innovation-driven ecosystem and aims to convene industry stakeholders to explore technologies and innovations that enhance competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability. SASC, as the organizing body, plays a key role in developing this ecosystem, setting strategic directions, shaping policies, and fostering sector-wide collaboration. It also drives investment, supports sustainability, and enables infrastructure development across land, sea, and air environments.
Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week will feature cutting-edge technologies and attract decision-makers, experts, and industry leaders, highlighting the emirate's readiness to integrate autonomous systems into its development framework. The week will begin on 10th November with the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit, fostering dialogue, innovation, and global collaboration in sustainable smart and autonomous mobility.
Following the summit, the DRIFTx exhibition will run from 10-12 November, showcasing solutions across various domains, including robotics. Concurrently, the RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2025, organised by Khalifa University, will take place, marking its debut in the Middle East and North Africa, with global teams competing in AI-driven robotics challenges.
The week will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League's second edition, emphasizing the future of smart mobility. Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week 2025 aims to establish strategic partnerships and reinforce the emirate's leadership in smart and autonomous systems development. By promoting autonomous solutions, Abu Dhabi continues to lead in integrating efficiency, safety, and sustainability principles across all environments.
